Agape Detox Center, a growing facility located in South Florida is currently seeking a Part-Time Driver!

The Driver is responsible for providing transportation services primarily for patients to and from assigned destinations in a safe and timely manner. Assist in the proper maintenance of all vehicles and vehicle maintenance log to ensure maximum vehicle safety.

Specific Areas of Responsibility:

• Must ensure that work performance is in alignment with Agape Centers’ Mission Statement.
• Follows an established route or schedules as assigned on a daily basis.
• Takes vehicle to be serviced to a central servicing area for repairs and/or preventative maintenance, clean and wash vehicle as necessary.
• Demonstrates some knowledge of the geography of the County. 
• Detects improper functioning mechanical systems on the assigned vehicle.
• Services the public and fellow employees with honesty and integrity in full accord with the letter and spirit of the facilities Ethics and Conflict of Interest policies.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
• Makes minor adjustments and to do minor servicing of automotive equipment.
• Operates the assigned vehicle in the prescribed manner.
• Demonstrates knowledge of state and county traffic and motor vehicle regulations.
• Maintains records and logs on travel time, mileage, fuel purchases and passengers served.
• Operates a motor vehicle such as a van or light truck in transporting passengers to and from county medical and health facilities; assists passengers on boarding, leaves vehicle; and answers routine questions.

Requirements:

• Minimum of High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to communicate with co-workers.
• Ability to work independently in assigned areas.
• At least one year’s experience as a client advocate is preferred.
• Valid Driver License with no more than 3 points required.
